Flaming River 1988-98 Chevy C1500 truck power rack and pinion cradle kits are direct bolt-ins with precision welded cradles manufactured using a 3/8 in. steel plate to assure there is no flexing. Each kit adapts to the original steering column and includes a new slip shaft with U-joints and a hose kit. They have been designed for use with the original power steering pump and the travel bar maintains original geometry. Features: * Designed for use at factory ride height or with 4/6 lowering kit * Solid plate 3/8 in. steel for increased strength * Bolts in place of steering box and idler arm using OE mount locations * Precise, modern steering with no cutting, drilling, or welding to chassis * Features new front steer power rack and pinion * Rack and pinion features .98 in. rack shaft for increased strength * Billet servo valve for cooler operation * Lifetime serviceability and Flaming River tested and certified Power rack and pinion cradle kit includes: * Mounting hardware * Universal joints and shafts * Rack and pinion cradle system
