Flaming River Tilt Floor Shift Steering Columns
Flaming River tilt floor shift steering columns feature large tube diameters and compact shrouds to create a unique custom look. Designed specifically for use with floor shifters and available in a variety of styles, lengths, and shaft sizes, they come complete with a billet dress up kit (tilt, turn signal lever, and hazard knob), and wiring. They are manufactured from high-quality 304 grade stainless steel, will never rust, and are available in a variety of finishes--including a paintable mill finish, black powdercoated, or polished. Mill finish columns are shipped chemically clean and can be painted to match or highlight any interior with only minor preparation. Key column units (see Ignition Key Location above) include an integrated ignition key located at the 3 o'clock position, with no welded-on attachments or extra relays required. Keyed columns are complete with a key assembly, wiring, and ignition switch.

The columns are manufactured from high-quality 304 grade stainless steel, will never rust, and are available in a variety of finishes—including a paintable mill finish, black powdercoated, spray chromed, or polished to a high luster. Mill finish columns are shipped chemically clean and can be painted to match or highlight an interior with only minor preparation. A combination neutral safety switch/back-up light (sold separately) must be ordered with the column, except for select models that include a switch. Select units include an integrated ignition key located at the 3 o'clock position, with no welded-on attachments or extra relays required. These columns are complete with a key assembly, wiring, and ignition switch. Columns are offered with or without illuminated gearshift indicators. Have an overdrive automatic transmission? Manufactured from steel finished in a ceramic coating, the headers are available in full-length models—or a shorty design that allows extra ground clearance for dual exhaust systems. Unless otherwise noted, these headers are designed to fit the vehicle as it came from the manufacturer. This includes components like cylinder heads, chassis, steering, motor mounts, body mounts, and bushings. These Flaming River Mustang power rack and pinions are perfect for street rods, musclecars, and as stock replacements in Ford products that use the Mustang II front steer design. They offer over 6 in. of rack travel, which provides the maximum turning radius for classic and street rod applications. These 1965-70 Mustang bump steer kits are designed specifically for use with their rack and pinion conversion kits with Granada spindles--and are designed to assist you in re-aligning your steering geometry and improve handling. Simply replace your current outer tie rod ends with the new tie rod ends, using the provided spacers to adjust the angle as needed. These adjustable outer tie rod end replacements feature 6061 T-6 aluminum, fully machined sleeve with a black anodized finish, and a PTFE-lined 5/8 in. heim joint that never needs lubrication. A 4140 steel pin is machined with the correct taper for the Granada spindle.
