Flaming River timing lights are single-wire timing lights powered by 2 "D" cell batteries. They can be used on any spark ignition engine, including those using a magneto. The lights are equipped with a Xenon bulb, which generates a strobe visible in even the brightest daylight, and a clip-on inductive pick-up.
