FAST HI-6R CD Ignitions

Designed for engines with up to 14.5:1 compression ratios, nitrous, superchargers, or turbos, FAST's HI-6R ignitions keep your ride performing all the way down the track. These fully digital, multi-spark, CD ignitions deliver higher spark-gap current than comparable digital CD ignitions. Designed for street and racing use, they come with FAST's "Plug-n-Go" universal harness to cover most installations, with optional harnesses available separately. Their built-in rev limiter automatically drops cylinders in firing order to prevent fuel loading, and is adjustable by increments of 100 from 600-9,900 rpm, without the need for chips. Other built-in features include a tach accuracy check, a system problems check for easy problem diagnosis, and crossfire protection for supercharged and turbo applications. The optional 0-20 degree adjustable timing retard and MAP sensor make a great combination for nitrous and turbo applications. They feature fully potted construction with soft urethane for heat, dirt, and moisture protection, and an anodized heat-sink shell for reliability. FAST designed them to be points, mag, or module-triggered for 4, 6, and 8-cylinder engines with distributors.

FAST EZ-EFI 2.0 Multi-Port Retro-Fit kits allow owners of existing factory or aftermarket multi-port fuel injected applications and intake manifolds to experience the benefits of an EZ-EFI 2.0 system with no limit on horsepower—because the systems are based on each customer's supplied injectors. The next generation of the revolutionary self-tuning EZ-EFI has been upgraded with more features than ever before. Yet it maintains ease of use that doesn't require a laptop or tuning experience. As with the original EZ-EFI, simply hook up the system, answer the Setup Wizard questions on the hand-held, and EZ-EFI 2.0 tunes itself as you drive. The new high-quality wiring harness (with a sleek mesh-type loom) uses commonly available late model OEM sensors for accuracy and durability. The EZ-EFI 2.0 has an updated hand-held, as well, featuring the industry's first color touch screen. Self-powered through the ECU rather than requiring an outside power source, it shares the same mounting points as the Garmin Nuvi GPS—meaning there are nearly limitless mounting options (suction cup mount is included with all kits). Serving as the Setup Wizard initially, it then becomes an electronic gauge screen. The hand-held has various advanced features, including screen hide/sleep function, expanded diagnostics and data screens, plus intuitive navigation. Electronic fuel pressure measurement is standard on all kits—and all kits work with wet nitrous systems, providing built-in nitrous timing retard and special nitrous AFR targeting. EZ-Ignition features an EZ-Solution option, meaning that it is plug-and-play with FAST Dual-Sync distributors for electronic timing control, or can be used with an EFI distributor of your choice and a FAST crank trigger. Or the system can be used to control fuel only and be used with a standard carb-type distributor where timing is set manually. FAST XDi Sportsman Distributors

FAST XDi Sportsman distributors are designed to deliver the most accurate trigger signal possible throughout the entire rpm range of your race engine. This is accomplished through the use of an advanced Hall-effect style pickup, which is then converted to a signal that most CD ignition controls accept. The benefit of a Hall-effect pickup is: there is no retard, commonly called magnetic pickup compensation—so you can ensure your timing remains stable from idle to race rpm. Inside the CNC-machined billet housing is a polished stainless steel shaft that is supported with sealed ball bearing on the top and a long bushing on the bottom. They've also reduced end play in the distributor to take out any timing variations and damage to the gear. FAST XDi distributors are supplied with high-quality rotors and caps, and are available with a large diameter Ford-style cap or smaller diameter GM points size cap with HEI terminals, as well as either a steel or bronze gear.
