FAST LSXR Intake Manifolds
The engineers at FAST teamed up with the airflow specialists at RHS to develop a 3-piece, polymer intake manifold. They are constructed from a proprietary advanced polymer material that offers a host of benefits over aluminum aftermarket intakes, including lighter weight and improved strength and heat dissipating characteristics. While they feature a 102mm air inlet that is perfectly suited to the FAST Big Mouth 102mm throttle body, they can also be used with stock or aftermarket 90mm or 92mm throttle bodies. FAST LSXRT Intake Manifolds
FAST LSXRT intake manifolds are designed specifically for GM truck engines (4.8L, 5.3L, and 6.0L) and LS1, LS2, and LS6 race applications where hood clearance is not a concern. FAST LSXRT 102mm intake manifolds follow the path chartered by the original FAST LSX Gen III intakes by featuring a modular design that allows for easy porting and disassembly and a runner design that yields an incredible 25 peak horsepower gain over the stock intake (on a stock 6.0L engine with a Big Mouth 102mm throttle body). Similar to the LSXR 102mm intake manifold for cars, the LSXRT features the ability to remove individual runners for modification. LSXRT's are constructed from a proprietary precision injection molded polymer which offers many benefits, including lighter weight, greater strength and lower heat soak propensity. While they feature a 102mm air inlet that was designed for the FAST Big Mouth 102mm throttle body, they can also be used with stock 90mm or aftermarket 92mm throttle bodies (78mm three-bolt throttle bodies require an adapter). Other features include integrated nitrous bungs and precise bolt-on fit that permits the use of factory accessories and OEM fuel/emission connections without adjustments or clearance issues. FAST Magnet-Free Crank Trigger Kits
Recently, engineers at FAST turned to the OEMs to see what they trust in the way of rpm-measuring crank triggers for their 400 and 500 horsepower daily drivers. Until now, flying magnetic trigger wheels with bulky inductive pickups have been used with the risk of broken magnets or losing magnets at high engine rpm. Now there is a better answer--FAST magnet-free crank trigger kits. A magnet-free device, these kits from FAST include a wheel constructed from ASTM A36 grade steel that is so strong that it only needs to be .125 in. thick and is virtually indestructible. With the wheel being this thin, it not only weighs less but requires less space than competitors' aluminum versions. And the FAST inductive sensor is also much smaller than others on the market and is hermetically sealed with the connector molded into the body. The key to the crank trigger's dependability and accuracy lies in the trigger wheel design. Rather than having added magnets, the wheel has tabs on the outer rim. These tabs are measured by the inductive sensor as the wheel revolves, which then provides data to the fuel injection and ignition systems for accurate rpm measurement. And because the tabs are a part of the single wheel unit, there is no possibility of loss or fragmentation as with the magnetic style trigger wheels. This sensor is used by OEMs both on and inside the engine and provides long-lasting, accurate timing. Installation is straight forward, and everything required is included. For those already using the FAST XFI system, it's a plug and play unit. In addition, it's compatible with many other EFI systems on the market.

FAST Magnetic Crank Trigger Kits
FAST magnetic crank trigger kits are setting the new industry standard for timing accuracy while preserving compatibility with other brands' ignition systems. Crank triggers are known to provide the most accurate crankshaft rotation measurement; however, modern fuel injection systems and sophisticated testing equipment have exposed inadequacies in traditional crank trigger designs. To correct for timing fluctuations in high-rpm racing applications, FAST engineers replaced the fluctuation prone 2-wire inductive pick-up with a modern digital hall-effect design. This digital hall-effect pick-up, coupled with samarium cobalt magnets installed in the trigger wheel, result in crank rotation measurements that are accurate to a quarter of a degree from zero to 13,000 engine rpm. These pickups are far less susceptible to electromagnetic noise interference than 2-wire designs. Additionally, the pick-up accuracy is unaffected by electrical system voltage variations—maintaining quarter-degree timing accuracy from 7 V to 30 V DC. Outputting a clean square-wave signal, FAST magnetic crank trigger kits can trigger ignition boxes directly or integrate with EFI systems such as the FAST EZ-EFI 2.0, XFI Sportsman, and XFI 2.0. An integral LED eases timing calibration and diagnostics. These kits don't sacrifice durability for technological innovation. Crafted from billet aluminum then black anodized, the trigger wheels and pick-up brackets will withstand harsh racing environments.
