FAST GM EZ-LS ignition controller kits deliver low cost and proven ignition control for any LS engine swap utilizing a variety of FAST EFI setups. They work perfectly with FAST fuel control systems, including EZ-EFI 2.0, XFI, and XFI Sportsman. The kits employ a simplified plug-and-play wiring harness and a compact, waterproof ECU enclosure--which makes clean, professional installation a snap. These timing retard controls from Fast are an ideal way to add zero to 20 degrees of timing retard in three modes--continuous, demand, and boost proportional--to HI-6, HI-6R, and HI-6DSR ignition systems. The FAST XFI Sportsman EFI systems are a custom-tunable throttle body EFI that fills the gap between FAST EZ-EFI and XFI 2.0 systems. Designed for muscle car, late model street, race and sportsman drag racing engines, along with boosted and nitrous applications, the FAST XFI Sportsman EFI system is a fully software-tunable EFI setup. It requires a laptop for tuning and uses proven FAST C-Com software, which comes packaged along with the necessary USB connectivity cable. The system offers load-indexed speed density or Alpha-N tuning strategies; most users will use speed density strategy, which is self-tuning, but the Alpha-N option is specifically added to serve Sportsman drag racers looking for absolute consistency. The FAST XFI Sportsman EFI system features full tables to monitor fueling, acceleration fuel, timing, and air/fuel targets. A user-configurable auxiliary input channel and full-function data logging are also included. It supports both naturally aspirated and boosted applications up to 5 bar, is compatible with wet nitrous, and has nitrous timing retard control. Built-in CAN network support for the EZ-TCU, EZ-LS, XIM, and eDash means users can easily plug-and-play those components with the included CAN network wire. The FAST valve timing control module (and associated harness) for Ford 5.0 Coyote engines provides a plug-and-play interface between the engine, FAST XFI Sportsman and an XIM ignition module. FAST valve timing control modules allow the ECU to control the position of Coyote engines' four phaseable camshafts. The intake and exhaust cam positions are separately tunable through C-Com software with tables for position vs. RPM and load. This provides a simple alternative to having to open up the engine to install mechanical locking devices on all four cams when switching to FAST aftermarket fuel injection. Since this VTC module is an electronic solution, the cams don't have to be fixed in a single position. The cams can still be moved to maintain the broad powerband allowed by the phaseable cam system. The VTC module allows for full, dynamic control of valve overlap, allowing the tuner to get their desired sound at idle, while still maintaining great off-idle torque and drivability. It won the runner-up position in the "Best New Performance – Street Product" category at the 2016 SEMA Show.
