FAST XDi Street HEI Distributors
FAST XDi Street HEI distributors include the industry-first gear technology with an upgraded module and coil that ensure clean ignition firing up to 8,500+ rpm. Ideal for SB and BB Chevy engines, each of the XDi distributors feature a plasma nitrided gear compatible with all popular camshaft materials, including cast iron, austempered iron, 5160 steel, and even 8620 steel. The special plasma nitride process used on the gears not only increases the gear's surface hardness, but also the "slickness" of the gear teeth reducing friction and increasing cam/distributor gear life, as well as making them superior to common melonized gears. XDi Street HEI distributors also feature powerful 6-amp ignition modules that drive custom-wound performance coils up to 50,000 V, providing the hot spark needed for maximum horsepower. While ready to run out of the box, for those that enjoy tuning the mechanical and vacuum advance mechanisms for better throttle response and fuel economy, FAST XDi Street HEI distributors include springs, advanced limit plate, and instructions needed to adjust the distributor for your particular engine/vehicle combination.

FAST Distributor Cap and Rotor Service Kits
FAST Distributor Cap and Rotor Service Kits are a high-quality upgrade for GM HEI distributors. The kit includes a cap, coil cover, and two different rotor buttons. The black cap and coil cover are injection molded with Rynite for ultimate performance, durability, and protection from ignition arc-through. Brass and stainless terminals and contacts provide superior corrosion resistance and maximum spark energy distribution. FAST distributor cap and rotor service kits include two different rotor buttons are included to use with either stock HEI or CD ignitions. The high-resistance carbon rotor bushing for use with stock HEI distributors helps suppress radio frequency interference. However, when the high voltage of a performance CDI is added, resistance may build excessive heat damaging the distributor cap and rotor. The low-resistance rotor bushing allows the secondary voltage to be directed away from the distributor cap to the rotor without excessive heat buildup.

FAST XDi EZ-RUN Distributors

These units do not require an ignition box to fire the coil, and their standard-size caps offer more firewall and manifold clearance than HEI-style distributors. XDi EZ-RUN billet distributors feature mechanical and vacuum advance for easy setup and use. They also feature a built-in electronic module that can directly fire an ignition coil, while delivering accurate, dependable, and maintenance-free operation. Ideal for both carbureted and EFI conversion engines, EZ-RUNs are a perfect choice for daily drivers, musclecars, and street rods.
