Enginetech Main Bearings

Enginetech main bearings are made of high-quality alloys, based on the application requirement. Manufactured on state-of-the-art equipment, this ensures consistent bearing thickness for proper oil clearances, and parting line chamfers are precisely controlled, guaranteeing they are cut at the correct angle to allow for the proper amount of oil bleed-through without reducing oil pressure. Thrust washers are included, where appropriate, when they are not already molded into the main bearing. The materials are high strength (load capacity), but also have good anti-friction properties (wear resistance, anti-seizure, and embeddability). Enginetech main bearings provide extra protection and better durability within your rebuild. Select the size needed.

Enginetech Cam Bearings

Enginetech offers cam bearings for a variety of applications, including many Chevy small block V8 engines from the 1960s, '70s, '80s, and '90s. Enginetech camshaft bearings are manufactured as a "full round" design. They're produced from extruded steel tubes with a centrifugally cast Babbitt lining. Several different grades of Babbitt are used depending on the application. Engines with inherent OE problems of bearing wiping and/or fatiguing utilize a high-grade ASTM-14 material. Order the replacement set recommended for your engine.

Enginetech Piston and Ring Kits

Enginetech offers piston and ring kits for a variety of applications, including select Chevy and Ford engines from the 1960s, '70s, '80s, and '90s. The replacement pistons are available in dish or flat top style, in cast or forged aluminum. The rings serve multiple purposes: Sealing the combustion chamber; regulating oil consumption; transferring heat away from the piston into the cylinder wall; and maintaining compression for engine power and efficiency.
