Edelmann Power Steering Pressure Hoses
Edelmann power steering pressure hoses are constructed to last. The covers are highly resistant to oil, heat, and ozone, that can cause ordinary assemblies to fail prematurely. The inside tube can withstand internal oil temperatures of up to 300 degrees F. Plus, high-tensile strength braided fabric helps these hoses withstand pulsation pressures of up to 1,500 psi and bursting pressures that exceed 6,000 psi. Tubing is coated with a zinc-aluminum alloy with an aluminum-rich epoxy topcoat, and the couplings and fittings are zinc plated for rust and corrosion protection.

Edelmann Compression Fittings
Edelmann compression fittings are designed for low- and medium-pressure applications. They do not require flaring or soldering. To make a connection, place the nut and then the sleeve over the tubing, and insert the tube into the fitting body as far as possible. When the nut is tight, the wedging action of the sleeve between the body and the nut creates a secure, leak-free connection. Edelmann compression fittings are available in varieties such as male and female connectors, male and female elbows, run tees, and unions. Choose the size to fit your tubing diameter, from 1/8 in. up to 3/4 in.; pipe thread sizes also vary between 1/8 in. to 1/2 in.
