In 1938, Vic Edelbrock built his first intake manifold so he could get more power from his 1932 Ford roadster. After some modification, his “slingshot” manifold helped his flathead Ford set a new quarter mile record. Intake Manifolds: The first thing that comes to mind when you hear Edelbrock is intake manifolds, and for good reason. Carburetors: An Edelbrock carburetor isn’t just a great performer. It’s also designed to be easy to tune. Most tasks, including float bowl adjustments and needle swaps, can be done without draining or removing the unit from the engine.
Cylinder Heads: Edelbrock added cylinder heads to their product offerings in 1986. Designed for 396-502 c.i.d. big block Chevy engines, these Edelbrock cylinder heads include heavy-duty exhaust valves that provide the added durability needed for marine applications, and have one-piece, stainless steel intake valves with hardened tips and swirl-polished heads. The high-velocity flow capabilities of Edelbrock Performer RPM cylinder heads provide increased torque across a wide rpm range that's ideal for marine use. Edelbrock Performer RPM Street Fuel Pumps
Edelbrock Performer RPM street fuel pumps are designed for use with all Edelbrock carburetors used in Performer or Performer RPM applications. These high performance street fuel pumps feature a high-quality, 3-stage polished finish. The unique valve design improves flow quantity and quality—and will support engines with up to 600 hp. The high-volume, 3/8 in. NPT inlet and outlets surpass the capacity of many other pumps. Performer RPM street fuel pumps produce 6 psi and do not require a regulator; and the clockable lower housing can be rotated for the best inlet and outlet alignment. They're designed for use with gasoline only.
