In 1938, Vic Edelbrock built his first intake manifold so he could get more power from his 1932 Ford roadster. After some modification, his “slingshot” manifold helped his flathead Ford set a new quarter mile record. Cylinder Heads: Edelbrock added cylinder heads to their product offerings in 1986. Edelbrock Performer RPM Air-Gap intake manifolds incorporate race-winning technology that's been used on Victor Series competition intakes for years. The open air space from the Air-Gap design separates the runners from the heat of the lifter-valley cover. Edelbrock GM Stepper IAC Motors with Gasket
Automobile engines are a perfect balance of science and mechanical engineering. Each part is designed to interact with the other in perfect harmony to produce a means of transportation. One very small, but very vital component found in this mass orchestra of mechanics is the idle air control valve, or better known to mechanics as the IAC.
