DV8 Offroad Jeep JK spare tire carriers feature a body-mounted design that transfers the weight of oversized tires/wheels from the factory door hinges to the body of your Wrangler. The mounting location of each carrier positions the tire higher than the factory placement which helps to improve the departure angle with larger tires when rock crawling. These tire carriers are made from high-quality steel tubing that's built to withstand rough trail conditions while providing an aggressive design that accents your Jeep's factory styling. The carriers' hidden wiring and zip-tie tabs allow for clean wire management of the included LED license plate light. With the included cam nut, the carrier can be adjusted for the perfect fit, and it can mount up to a 38x13.50 sized tire/wheel with a -25 max offset. DV8 tire carriers also include two whip flag/antenna mounts and a hole at the center of the mount for adding a padlock to prevent theft of your spare tire. Carriers are finished in a resilient micro-texture black powdercoat for a sleek, uniform look. (Some minor drilling and additional wiring for the license plate light is required for installation.) DV8 Offroad spare tire guards were designed with several functions in mind. After upgrading to larger tires, the spare tire has been known to cause flex in the tailgate due to the added weight on the factory carrier. DV8 tire guards reinforce the tailgate by mounting to multiple points along the tailgate, increasing rigidity. Additionally, the guard can accept locking pins (not included) for security against theft. The DV8 Offroad spare tire guards can fit up to a 20 in. wheel with a 37 x 12.50 in. spare tire, and your OEM back-up camera retains full visibility when using the tire guard. Installation is a simple, bolt-on process with no drilling required. These spare tire guards are made from strong 3.5mm steel plate and 1.5/2mm steel tube with a micro-textured black powdercoat finish for added durability and to provide long-lasting rugged good looks.

The DV8 Offroad TCJL-01 Jeep Wrangler JL Tailgate Mounted Tire Carrier replaces the weakest link on the OEM spare tire mounting system. Unlike Jeeps of the past, the JL features a cast steel internal tailgate structure. This means that it's much stronger and more capable of handling heavier loads. The DV8 TCJL-01 tire carrier replaces the factory bracket that connects the spare to the tailgate itself. It also makes the mounting system adjustable to accommodate up to a 35 in. tire and wheel combo.
