DV8 Offroad Jeep JK Bumper Add-On Tire Carriers extend from the bumper (RS-10 and RS-11) to the Jeep's rear tailgate. Much like the DV8 RS-2 Tire Carrier, it opens along with the tailgate in one step, rather than the 2-step process of opening a standard swing-away tire carrier. This carrier is designed to bolt onto your existing RS-10 or RS-11 bumper, so that if you're on a budget you can purchase the bumper and then the tire carrier when ready. It's precision CNC laser-cut with a multitude of mounting points so you can get creative with your hi-lift jack, gas and water cans, or whatever else you like to bring with you. After being laser-cut, the pieces are sent to be expertly welded, and then finished with a black powdercoat. The final product is a solid tire carrier that can handle the load of any Jeep adventure. The DV8 Offroad TCJL-01 Jeep Wrangler JL Tailgate Mounted Tire Carrier replaces the weakest link on the OEM spare tire mounting system. Unlike Jeeps of the past, the JL features a cast steel internal tailgate structure. This means that it's much stronger and more capable of handling heavier loads. The DV8 TCJL-01 tire carrier replaces the factory bracket that connects the spare to the tailgate itself. It also makes the mounting system adjustable to accommodate up to a 35 in. tire and wheel combo.
