Dorman automatic transmission torque converter lock-up solenoids are engineered to precise specifications and designed to match the fit and function of the original equipment solenoid on specified Subaru vehicles. On certain Subaru vehicles, when varnish buildup or a short circuit causes the torque converter clutch solenoid to fail, the dealership requires replacing the entire valve body assembly. This Dorman OE FIX automatic transmission torque converter lock-up solenoid allows replacement of just the solenoid, instead of the entire valve body assembly, saving you a significant expense.
