DIYAutoTune Smart Coils

DIYAutoTune Smart Coils by AMP EFI produce CDI-level spark energy--without a CD ignition module. They're manufactured with a 19 amp IGBT ignitor built in and can be driven with a 5 V logic level output. Normally, you would use Smart Coils for distributor-less ignitions, such as a coil-per-plug application; however they can be fired sequentially or every crank revolution (wasted spark coil per plug). Smart Coil specs: * Minimum voltage output (no load, at recommended dwell): 40,000 V * Output energy: 103 mJ * Spark duration: 2.9 ms * Primary resistance: 0.5 ohms (not directly measurable) * Primary inductance: 4.8 mH (not directly measurable) * Secondary resistance: 8,500 ohms * Secondary inductance: 22.5 H * Turns ratio: 71.1 * Maximum current: 19 amps * Maximum battery voltage: 17 V * Nominal dwell: 3.0 ms * Maximum recommended duty cycle is 40 percent * Requires HEI-type plug wire ends/boots

DIYAutoTune Hall Effect Sensors

DIYAutoTune hall effect sensors can be used as crankshaft or camshaft position sensors, and are also suitable for use as vehicle speed sensors (VSS). The threaded bodies feature a red anodized finish and includes two M12 mounting nuts. They run off 5 to 24 V and gives a nice square wave, so there's no variable voltage issues. Specifications are: * Operating voltage: 5 to 24 V * Maximum over-voltage and reverse voltage: +30 to -24 V * Maximum supply current required: 6 mA * Maximum output current sinking: 20 mA * Output type: Open collector * Triggering options: Magnet or ferrous metal * Maximum frequency: 15 kHz * Temperature range: -40 to +125 degrees C * Nominal air gap: 1.5mm * Thread pitch: M12 x 1mm * Overall length: 65.5mm, not including wires * Sensor material: Aluminum * Sensor orientation: Not directional * Recommended tooth size is a rectangle measuring at least 2.5mm x 6.35mm, with a 5.0mm tooth height.

DIYAutoTune AXM Single Channel Ignition Modules

The AXM-150 Single Channel ignition modules are the single-channel version of DIYAutoTune's proven 4-channel QuadSpark. They're purpose-built to drive one high-current ignition coil from a 5 V logic-level ECU ignition output, ideal for conventional distributor setups. One major benefit of the AXM-150 is that it allows users to bypass the OEM ignition module, giving the ECU full control over dwell and spark duration. * The AXM-150 is a perfect fit for MS3Pro Mini users running a single dumb coil with a distributor-based ignition system * Common use cases: -- Single coil distributor applications * Technical details: -- Pins 1 and/or 4: Ground (typically cylinder head) -- Pin 2: Logic ignition signal from ECU (Yellow Spark A wire on MS3Pro) -- Pin 3: Connects to coil negative terminal

DIYAutoTune AXM Dual Channel Driver/Inverter Ignition Modules

DIYAutoTune AMP EFI AXM-130 Dual Channel Drive/Inverter ignition modules are the ideal companion for your MS3Pro Mini. They convert spare 5 V logic-level spark outputs into signals compatible with ignition systems that require a 12 V trigger—including Ford TFI modules and MSD CDI boxes. Key features: * Dual input support: Accepts up to two 5 V logic-level spark outputs * Versatile output: Converts inputs into high-current drivers for low-side (ground) or high-side (12 V) triggered outputs * Selectable output configuration: Configure each output using jumpers under the cover * Normal (going-high – 12 V): Suitable for TFI modules, CDI boxes, tachometers, etc. * Inverted (going-low – ground): Ideal for relays, solenoids, and other ground-switched loads * Activation logic: Output is activated whenever the corresponding 5 V input signal is active Applications: * Ford TFI ignition modules * MSD capacitive discharge ignition (CDI) systems * Ignition boxes * Relays and fans * Solenoids and boost controllers * Water-methanol injection systems * Nitrous control systems * Why you need one: This module is essential when integrating the MS3Pro Mini with Ford TFI or MSD CDI ignition systems. It ensures proper signal compatibility, while adding flexibility to use unused spark outputs for controlling other devices.
