These cooling systems are designed to move a massive amount of air when needed—the fan speed increases as temperatures rise. At the programmed upper threshold temperature, the primary fan speed reaches 100 percent and the secondary fan kicks in to help. As the temperature drops down, the secondary fan cycles off, and the primary slows, giving you a constant cooling temperature. You get uncompromised cooling under all driving conditions.
