Detroit Speed weld-on subframe connectors join your front subframe and rear frame rails to increase your car's stiffness. These uniquely designed DSE connectors are fabricated from thick-wall rectangular steel tubing. They are bent and TIG-welded in a fixture for accuracy and repeatability. Unlike others, these DSE subframe connectors are barely visible from underneath the car, offering maximum ground clearance. Plus, they won't interfere with seat attachment hardware or the installation and removal of the rear leaf spring pocket. And, your molded factory carpet will still fit over the subframe connectors. Using computer modeling and on-road testing, DSE has engineered complete and comprehensive kits that include everything you need for the install. All you need to do is follow the instructions and supply the grease. The main features of these robust Detroit Speed upper control arms are the CNC-machined stainless steel cross shafts fitted with their caster tuner bushings--aluminum bushings that adjust caster by moving the upper control arm fore/aft for more or less caster, without adding alignment shims. And without shims, this unique adjustment design for camber control is precise and permanent. The arms are TIG-welded in a fixture for accuracy and repeatability of geometry. The arms are powdercoated gloss black and come assembled with ball joints, and two sets of caster tuner bushings are included. These frame notch brackets are manufactured from high-quality thick steel and powder coated black for added durability and include mounting hardware and bump stops with C-notch template. These 100 percent bolt-on brackets utilize the factory leaf springs. They are a requirement when installing a Detroit Speed flip kit. Note: This C-Notch is designed to work with the Speed Kits only. Faulty suspension operation? The problem could lie in your shock mounts, causing the shock absorbers to malfunction. If that's the case, make an upgrade with Detroit Speed's mini-tub lower shock plates! These plates come in an electroplate finish and work great when mini-tubbing the rear of your vehicle for larger rear tires. Because mini-tub plates do not have the same bolt pattern as stock sprint plates found on most axle housings, they can be used with Detroit Speed's adjustable leaf spring pads and U-bolts (sold separately). These mini-tub lower shock plates are available in either staggered inboard, staggered outboard, or for shocks on the same side of the rear axle.

Detroit Speed mini-tub leaf spring kits accommodate wider wheel and tire packages. The spring rate of 175 lbs./in. will also lower your vehicle 2 to 3 in. (depending on kit used) from factory ride height, and provide great handling without sacrificing ride quality.
