It turns unused space into lockable storage that's accessible simply by opening the tailgate. Even if you don't have a tonneau cover installed, these under tonneau storage drawers can maximize those otherwise challenging-to-access spaces. Maximizing Truck Bed Space: Dee Zee has designed the storage drawer toolbox to be mounted to leave the width of the truck bed between the wheel wells. The mounting bracket at the front and rear of the underside of the box stays within the footprint of your wheel wells with vehicle specific mounting instructions. It is also a great box to add discreet storage below your truck bed rails. In addition to the locking mechanism in the box, tailgate must be dropped for you to gain access--another security deterrent from would-be thieves. Durable and Secure: Manufactured from heavy-duty 16-gauge steel, the drawer can withstand everyday use. Don't worry, the drawer can handle weight. Dee Zee has designed the one-piece drawer with slides rated up to 600 lbs., even with the drawer fully extended! Simply unlock, twist the latch, and pull the drawer handle to access your gear in seconds. If you want to keep things separate, there are locations for included plastic dividers to be installed.
