DeatschWerks DW420 in-tank electric fuel pumps are a popular choice for ethanol applications or wherever the highest flowing standard fitment in-tank pump is needed. Quiet operation and pulse width modulation compatibility are delivered via the turbine impeller and computer-balanced armature. Ethanol compatibility is built-in via the carbon commutators and a fully encapsulated armature. DeatschWerks has engineered their fuel pumps to maximize flow at higher pressures. By designing the armature for torque bias, delaying pressure relief activation, and maximizing impeller efficiency, DW has created a line of pumps with an extremely flat flow curve. Higher flow at higher pressure delivers the fuel your engine demands. All DW pump designs go through 1,000 hours of endurance bench testing in a number of fuels to find and eliminate common modes of failures. Upon success, the pump design is in-car tested for several months in real-world conditions before production is approved. Each fuel pump is flow tested at pressure to make doubly sure that it meets DW's high standards of performance before it is labeled and packaged. DeatschWerks Top-Feed Conversion Fuel Rails
DeatschWerks top-feed conversion fuel rails are designed to convert side-feed applications to top-feed. Many performance vehicles manufactured between 1991 and 2006 came from the factory with side-feed injectors. The benefit of the modern top-feed injectors is that they are easier to tune, less expensive, and flow more fuel than side-feed alternatives. These vehicle-specific fuel rails are sold in pairs. DW also offers upgrade conversion kits that come with injectors ranging from 750cc to 2200cc and are engineered as a system where injector, rails, and mounting hardware that work together to integrate flawlessly into the OE manifold and mounting points. DeatschWerks DW440 Brushless In-Tank Electric Fuel Pumps
DeatschWerks DW440 brushless in-tank electric fuel pumps have a total height of only 4 in., making them easy to retrofit into any OE pump module. Brushless technology reduces friction and heat, increases efficiency, vastly improves pump lifespan in ethanol and methanol fuels—and allows higher voltage inputs for increased flow! These pumps move 440 lph of fuel at 40 psi. Each fuel pump includes a controller, which accepts an 8-22 V DC input and creates a digital signal to allow precise speed and torque control. The controllers are available in three configurations: single speed, dual speed, and PWM-controlled. Controller are designed to be used with voltage boosters, and the pump kits also include bulkhead wiring.
