Designed from a clean slate approach, Dart now offers the Iron Eagle Mopar Gen III cast iron bare blocks that address the shortcomings of the Hemi Gen III platform, and are the ideal candidate for hot rodders, drag racers, circle track competitors, off-roaders, and high performance marine enthusiasts. By utilizing conventional style main caps with Gen III rotating assemblies and related components, Dart has addressed the windage and oil control problems, along with revising the cooling and oiling passages for improved flow. Non-VVT and VVT version offerings are available. Get everything you ever wanted out of your Gen III Hemi engine with the Iron Eagle Mopar Gen III cast iron bare blocks by Dart! Key features of Dart Iron Eagle Gen III Hemi cast iron engine blocks: * Manufactured from superior strength cast iron * Priority main oiling system with two lifter crossovers and restrictor provisions * Siamese cylinder bores with extra thick walls * Extra-thick decks ensure reliable head gasket seal * Blind head bolt holes available in 7/16 in. standard or 1/2 in. upgrade * Scalloped water jackets increase flow around cylinders for better cooling * Clearance for 4.050 in. stroke with steel rods * Billet steel 4-bolt main caps 1-5, center 3 main caps splayed * Main studs standard * Gen III Hemi style motor mounts * Provisions for OE stock roller lifters and cam * Uses stock timing covers * All OE bolt holes for starter, water pump, etc. * Block can be machined for VVT or non-VVT camshafts * Parts kit included (32000050 for non-VVT, or 32000051 for VVT); note parts kits do not include cam bearings
