Dakota digital external GPS antennas are designed for use with the GPS speed sender. They plug directly into the optional port on the sender and—when combined with the sender—will send signals back to your VFD3 or VHX instrument system.

Dakota Digital GPS speed sensor and interface modules are built for the custom automotive market. The highly advanced electronic and software design allows them to work unlike anything else, with accelerometers and predictive software to compensate for the times when GPS inherently struggles: overpasses, mountains, tunnels, heavy tree cover, large buildings, passing large vehicles, etc. Their unique electronic architecture provides for negligible current usage when off, and yet they offer lightning fast start-up and signal acquisition. Updating the speed information 10 times per second offers tremendous accuracy, while their integrated omnidirectional antenna provides for installation flexibility and simplicity. These modules do such a tremendous job of rendering the correct speed information, they can be used to feed an aftermarket cruise control system—and used in conjunction with a Dakota Digital VFD3 or VHX instrument system. A single data connection cable adds accurate speed information, compass positioning, altimeter data, and automatic clock syncing, all with fully automatic calibration. You'll have no DIP switches, no guessing, and no inaccuracies, period! The modules are also fully compatible with other electronic speedometers on the market. Offering a user-selectable output of 4k, 8k, or 16k PPM signals and a selectable signal type of a Sine Wave or Square Wave, the flexibility is endless!

Dakota Digital GRFX Series universal elliptical digital gauge kits include speedometer, tachometer, clock, and oil pressure, fuel level, voltmeter, and water temperature gauges. A graceful, billet aluminum front bezel is integrated with the 2 in. deep black powdercoated housing, making this a one-piece solution. Six simulated analog readings displayed in 3 TFT displays are encompassed in the 12 in. x 5.7 in. body (11.655 in. x 5.295 in. cutout), requiring 2 in. of clearance on the backside. A built-in rotary switch for streamlined installation provides the time you need to craft the perfect, one-off dashboard! The GRFX Series allows the user to customize nearly every aspect of the instrument system. A variety of graphic themes can be selected, and each element within can be further personalized with unique display colors and warning modes. Furthermore, each gauge location can be configured with an analog, digital, or Bar-graph style of readout. Each display can show readings singly, grouped in pairs for twice the visible data, or completely reconfigured to show a different readout entirely! New to the automotive aftermarket is the integration of a reverse backup video display, offering you visibility, safety and peace of mind while backing. Using the largest onboard display within the GRFX system, the video footage is displayed right within the instrument cluster! Dakota Digital offers a range of backup cameras, available separately, with full-length wire harness and universal mounting for simplified installation.
