Currie 9-inch third members are designed to fit Ford 9-inch applications. The case is made from nodular iron and installed is a Currie TwinTrac® posi differential in 31 spline, or Eaton TrueTrac differential in the 35 spline options. Currie universal steel hard brake line kits are designed for the rear housing on your vehicle. The kits include two lengths of steel hard line tubing that are flared on one end, four double flare fittings, and the rubber brake hose to go from the housing up to the frame. The hose features a bulkhead fitting on one end to tie into your vehicle's existing brake lines, and a block on the opposite end that the two hard lines install into, as well as a through hole for attaching the block to the housing. Brake lines are the most important part of your vehicle. Anyone can go fast, but it's stopping that gets you to the next race. Currie brake line kits are universal and come with two lengths of stainless steel hard line tubing--30 and 36 in. They are flared on both ends with fitments already on the lines, but as with any brake job, you should have bending and flaring equipment available for modifications that your chosen plumbing route may require. With stainless steel lines and a braided stainless steel brake hose, Currie brake line kits will give you the pedal feel you want and a solid hydraulic system all the way to the calipers. Make sure to inspect the entire hydraulic system and the pads while changing the lines. Every good brake line is only as good as the calipers and pads that they are run to.
