They include: two rear struts, two front door bars, main hoop cross brace, two diagonal hoop supports, six weld joint gussets, and eight 6.000 in. square x 0.134 in. (10 gauge) thick floor plates. Combining these parts with a main hoop kit gives you an 8-point roll cage—a modification required in most racing circuits for providing increased cabin safety and side impact protection. The guys at Competition Engineering say these Slide-A-Link traction bars will cut half a tenth off of your 60 ft. times. The secret is their innovative telescoping design, which gives you two full inches of adjustability when setting pinion angle and spring preload. That gives you more control over front-end lift and weight transfer, so you can make quick, easy, on-car adjustments to track conditions. The bars come with special urethane bushings that store energy to prevent unloading between shifts, replacement lower axle mount pads, 1/2 in. U-bolts, aluminum front spring eye bushings, hardware, and complete instructions.

Competition Engineering 10-Point Roll Bar Main Hoop Kits
Wrap yourself up in 10 points of protection, these Competition Engineering 10-Point roll bar main hoop kits give you that extra protection required when you truly get competitive and head out to the circuit races. These 10-point roll bar main hoop kits come with the main loop, one top loop, two front down struts, one main hoop crossbrace, and two diagonal hoop supports. This type of modification is required in most circuits of racing to provide increased cabin safety, while also improving the vehicles side impact protection. Best installed with the interior removed, they do require a mild amount of fabrication to properly fit to your vehicles application. Common installation steps may involve trimming length to fit your desired interior design, and welding definitely. Working with the interior out also makes it much easier to get proper fitment, and assure proper welds are achieved. These main hoop kits will require the appropriate strut kits to complete the cage install. These main hoop kits are available in mild steel and chromoly, so make sure you get the right material for your designed cockpit.
