Competition Engineering 8-Point Roll Bar Main Hoop Kits

Building your protective race bubble begins with one of these Competition Engineering 8-point roll bar main hoops. Made from your choice of chromoly or mild steel, these strong one-piece hoops mount easily with minimal welding, reinforcing the cabin safety through increased rigidity. This type of modification is required on most racing circuits for improved driver protection. In order to install a complete roll cage, you'll also need the appropriate strut kit (sold separately)--or save time by simply ordering the complete roll bar hoop and strut assembly package. Competition Engineering Rod Ends

Competition Engineering rod ends are available in a number of sizes, in both right-hand and left-hand threads, and all come with jam nuts. Their all-steel bodies are available in low-carbon, chromoly, or forged steel. Competition Engineering highly recommends that you use chromoly rod ends exclusively with their 4-link and ladder-bar suspension kits, with polyurethane-lined types reserved for street applications with ladder bars. Forged-steel types are not recommended for the front points of 3 or 4-link suspensions. Their Magnum series chromoly rod ends are the best choice for ladder bar and 4-link applications. They are self-lubricating and self-sealing with increased thickness for greater tensile strength--perfect for demanding motorsports applications. When loaded, Magnum rod ends create metal-to-metal contact for unsurpassed strength, yet when unloaded, the Rilsan AZM30-injected liner will not rattle or squeak like standard 2 or 3-piece rod ends.

Competition Engineering Torque Link Kits

Competition Engineering has developed these engine-limiting torque link kits for enthusiasts who want the benefits of a solid motor mount for racing, and the comfortable ride of a stock motor for street use. It all begins with the installation of two supplied zinc-plated brackets. One goes on the front of the driver side cylinder head, and the other on the sway bar mount on the frame. For racing use, the removable torque link can be installed with the supplied pins and clips, limiting engine movement. When the racing is over, simply remove the torque link, and you're ready for a smooth ride home. These kits include all hardware and instructions for a complete installation.

Competition Engineering Adjustable Drag Shocks

These Competition Engineering adjustable drag shocks offer a 3-way valving system to dial-in the extension/compression ratio needed for any track condition. The front shocks have three adjustable ratios of 90/10, 80/20, and 60/40. The ratios for the rear shocks are 70/30, 60/40, and 50/50. These numbers represent the percentage of force required to extend (first number) and compress (second number) the shock. By changing the settings on the front and rear shocks, you can dial-in the car to raise the front on initial launch for weight transfer, and then settle smoothly for a final charge to the finish line.
