Competition Engineering 8-point complete roll cage kits are designed to strengthen your chassis without adding a lot of excess weight. These all-inclusive packages contain both the Main Hoop Kit and the Strut Kit, enabling you to begin a total roll bar and cage assembly with all components on-hand. The tubing is available in your choice of mild steel or aircraft-grade chromoly--all mandrel-formed by computer for consistent thickness. This type of cage is required on many race circuits, and Competition Engineering units are fully sanctioned by the NHRA and IHRA. Welding and minor car modifications may be necessary for a perfect fit. Competition Engineering Leaf Spring Traction Bar Kits
While the stock rear suspension in your ride may be adequate for stock engines and street tires, it just isn't going to cut it when you increase horsepower. What you need is Competition Engineering's leaf spring traction bars. Perfect for stock eliminator and bracket cars, they eliminate wheel hop and improve traction by applying the force that normally produces unwanted axle rotation into a downward force, making the tires stick to the pavement. They're constructed from heavy-gauge 2 1/2 x 1 1/2 x .120 in. wall steel tubing, and are fixture-welded to ensure a perfect fit for each application. This type of modification is required in most circuits of racing to provide increased cabin safety, while also improving the vehicles side impact protection.
