Competition Engineering Front Motor Plates

Keep your engine from twisting in the chassis! Competition Engineering front motor plates provide a solid connection between your engine and chassis, eliminating movement and helping to improve reaction times. These motor plates are made from 1/4 in. thick 6061-T6 aluminum and are computer-designed and machined. They're perfect for engine swaps or for setting the motor back in the chassis for increased weight transfer.

Competition Engineering Mid-Mount Plates

Competition Engineering mid-mount plates are designed to work with the aluminum front motor plates to further eliminate engine twist and prevent broken transmission cases in high-torque installations. Made from .188 in. thick 6061-T6 aluminum or .090 in. thick mild steel, they allow easy transmission swaps and help align the drivetrain for trouble-free operation. They include universal frame mounts and hardware.

Competition Engineering Solid Aluminum Body Mounts

Competition Engineering's solid aluminum body mounts are designed as direct replacements for the factory subframe body bushings on GM unibody cars. They eliminate the chassis flex and twisting that are common when these cars are used in competition. The mounts are CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aluminum for a perfect fit, and black anodized to resist corrosion. Instructions are included.

Competition Engineering Upper A-Arm Bushings

The stock upper control arm bushings found on most cars have serrations inside of the bushings to keep the arms from rotating freely. These serrations cause the bushings to twist and create friction that suppresses front-end lift and hinders weight transfer. By installing these Competition Engineering upper A-arm bushings, you eliminate the serrations. This allows the A-arm to pivot freely on the cross shaft, resulting in rapid front-end lift and increased weight transfer.

Competition Engineering Aluminum Spring Eye Bushings

Competition Engineering has developed these aluminum spring eye bushings to keep your leaf springs from moving around during a launch, like they would with the factory bushings. This simple improvement will give you quicker ETs by providing positive housing positioning, which allows for correct pinion angle and reduction of wheel hop.

Competition Engineering Engine Limiter Kits

These Competition Engineering engine limiter kits mount diagonally between the engine block and the frame rail, preventing the forward and rearward movement of the engine during launch and braking conditions. Without these kits, the movement of the engine within the chassis could cause the front and rear motor plates to flex and crack. Two kits are recommended for high-horsepower race applications, with one positioned on either side of the engine.

Competition Engineering Shock Bushings

The rubber material in your Competition Engineering shock bushings allows for great articulation--and the movement needed to adjust to road conditions and racing applications. Like so many automotive parts, they'll eventually break down or harden and need to be replaced. When that time comes you don't need to replace the entire shock; just order Competition Engineering shock bushings to change out the originals, and maintain that smooth ride with little fuss.

Competition Engineering Torque Link Kits

Competition Engineering has developed these engine-limiting torque link kits for enthusiasts who want the benefits of a solid motor mount for racing, and the comfortable ride of a stock motor for street use. It all begins with the installation of two supplied zinc-plated brackets. One goes on the front of the driver side cylinder head, and the other on the sway bar mount on the frame. For racing use, the removable torque link can be installed with the supplied pins and clips, limiting engine movement. When the racing is over, simply remove the torque link, and you're ready for a smooth ride home. These kits include all hardware and instructions for a complete installation.

Competition Engineering Mid-Mount Plate Mounting Kits

Competition Engineering mid-mount plate mounting kits may be used when installing your engine/transmission combination in different chassis where more than one mounting kit is required. Components in these kits are manufactured from mild steel and will require welding for the installation.
