Competition Clutch offers Stage 1.5 clutch kits for a variety of applications, including many Toyota, Pontiac, Mitsubishi, Dodge, Nissan, Infiniti, Honda©, and Acura© models from 1990 and up. The kits are an economical solution for moderately modified cars or simply aggressive individuals with stock power. They offer 30-40 percent of torque capacity and maintain stock pedal feel. DO NOT use with added forced induction such as turbo, supercharger, or NOS systems. State 1.5 clutch kits include a Competition Clutch pressure plate, full face organic performance disc assembly, throw-out bearing (where applicable), pilot bearing/bushing (where applicable), and alignment tool.

The kits are an economical solution for moderately modified cars or simply aggressive individuals with stock power. They offer 40-50 percent of torque capacity and maintain stock pedal feel. DO NOT use with added forced induction such as turbo, supercharger, or NOS systems. Stage 1 clutch kits include a Competition Clutch pressure plate, a 6-pad ceramic high-torque performance disc assembly (6-pad disc not used in all applications), throw-out bearing (where applicable), pilot bearing/bushing (where applicable), and alignment tool.

Competition Clutch steel flywheels are made of 4140 forged steel and are one-piece designs, which helps significantly in reducing the chances of ring gear separation and friction surface warpage. Forged steel flywheels work with all performance and stock clutch assemblies, and can be resurfaced. Competition Clutch Ultra-lightweight steel flywheels are recommended for forced induction and/or track and rally racing applications. They are machined with less material to assist in quicker revving capabilities, and are well suited for Stage 3 and up clutch applications.
