Using COMP Cams offset bushings is the simplest way to change the degree of a camshaft in relation to the crankshaft. These bushings offer accurate positioning of the cam because of their precise manufacturing.

COMP Cams Sportsman solid roller lifters feature premium-quality, high-value components designed for sportsman and professional racing, along with high-end street machines. They're available in both needle-bearing and bushing configurations. Each design features two pressurized EDM oil feeds, as well as an edge-orifice feed to the wheel. This delivers a more reliable oil feed than most competing options. COMP Cams Sportsman solid roller lifters are also designed with a shallower oil band than competitors' versions for increased strength and rigidity, while internal machining helps to reduce weight. The body utilizes a skirted wheel that strengthens the lifter ears, and the skirt also provides more contact area with the lifter bore for further lifter stabilization. In addition, staked axles eliminate clips and provide robust axle retention. This feature increases the stiffness of the lifter ears and helps to prevent the ears from spreading. The COMP Cams Sportsman solid roller lifters are built from 8620 premium steel for increased strength and wear resistance and they feature a captured, stainless steel link bar design. By tying all eight rocker arms together on a single shaft that fits in the stock rocker stand, COMP Cams has found a way to improve valve train dynamics, increase valve train stiffness and reduce deflection under extreme loads. If being able to adjust your cam timing quickly and easily is a top priority, then COMP Cams Ultimate Adjustable billet timing sets could be the answer. They have 2-piece billet steel cam sprockets, which let you change cam timing without removing the degree wheel or releasing the valvetrain load, and there's no cam bushing to break. Timing can be varied from 6 degrees retarded to 6 degrees advanced. Chains are heavy-duty, double-row types with hefty 0.250 in. rollers. A one-piece roller thrust bearing handles unwanted end loads.

These COMP Cams giant degree wheels are machined from a 1/4 in. thick aluminum plate. They have an open design that allows degree bushing changes while the wheel is still on the engine. These degree wheels feature a 1 in. center hole to fit with a crank socket, or you can use the included reducer bushing to fit your harmonic balancer bolt.

COMP Cams oil pump primer tools allow the oil pump to be primed and the engine prelubed prior to initial start up. This eliminates the chance of a "dry start" and premature engine damage. COMP Cams primers drop in place of the distributor, and with the use of a drill, spin the oil pump to supply oil to critical engine components. Both models feature a top alignment collar and the Chevrolet model includes a bushing to pressurize the upper valve train too.

COMP Cams Race XD mechanical roller lifters are strong, durable, and versatile. They feature a lightweight modular design with interchangeable pushrod seats. Available in medium or large offsets with left or right placement, Race XD lifters are configurable to clear the most extreme intake angles. Two finishes are offered: REM finished bodies create an extra-smooth surface for reduced lifter body and bore wear; and the DLC-coated bodies further minimize friction for the ultimate in durability. For excellent strength in extreme operating conditions, COMP Cams also enhances their Race XD lifters with a proprietary bronze alloy roller wheel bushing and an oversized captured link bar to connect the individual lifters. In an effort to eliminate the culprit of most roller lifter failures, these bushed solid roller lifter sets have oiling systems that ensure consistent roller wheel and axle lubrication.
