COMP Cams Thumpr LS Master camshaft packages come as a complete valvetrain parts package that is matched for specific LS applications and desired performance. COMP Cams engineers have spent countless hours testing and creating valve train component combinations that are perfectly matched for maximum horsepower and dependability, as well as creating that wildly popular Thumpr sound in GM LS applications. These packages can add anywhere from 60 to 110 hp (depending on the application). COMP Cams HRT Stage 1 Camshafts
COMP Cams HRT Stage 1 camshafts use the newest and most advanced lobe designs in order to produce some of the highest average power and torque available. The "Low Shock Technology" features lobe profiles designed to maximize horsepower while improving stability at higher engine speeds. These profiles are also easier on the valve springs, enhancing durability and reducing load loss. COMP Cams HRT camshafts receive the Micro Surface Enhancement (MSE) finishing process as a standard feature, which increases strength and performance by reducing surface peak roughness and provides a 250 percent improvement in the effective load bearing area, allowing for much higher loads. All HRT Stage 1 camshafts do not require upgraded valve springs.

COMP Cams Sportsman Solid Roller Lifters
COMP Cams Sportsman solid roller lifters feature premium-quality, high-value components designed for sportsman and professional racing, along with high-end street machines. They're available in both needle-bearing and bushing configurations. Each design features two pressurized EDM oil feeds, as well as an edge-orifice feed to the wheel. This delivers a more reliable oil feed than most competing options. COMP Cams Sportsman solid roller lifters are also designed with a shallower oil band than competitors' versions for increased strength and rigidity, while internal machining helps to reduce weight. The body utilizes a skirted wheel that strengthens the lifter ears, and the skirt also provides more contact area with the lifter bore for further lifter stabilization. In addition, staked axles eliminate clips and provide robust axle retention. This feature increases the stiffness of the lifter ears and helps to prevent the ears from spreading. The COMP Cams Sportsman solid roller lifters are built from 8620 premium steel for increased strength and wear resistance and they feature a captured, stainless steel link bar design. COMP Cams short travel XD hydraulic roller lifters offer the advantages of both light pre-load and reduced oil volume, producing the most stable and highest-revving hydraulic lifter available. The XD versions feature heavy-duty tool steel pushrod seats. This adds strength and durability in extreme-duty applications, such as turbo drag cars and offshore powerboats.
