COMP Cams offers a complete line of valve seals, from the stock GM O-rings to the positive-stop PTFE seals. They are a must to keep unwanted oil from entering the combustion chamber through the clearance in the valve guides. The O-ring seals use the standard retainer and oil splash shield. The umbrella seals are normally used when a larger-than-stock diameter spring is used. In the case of a double spring, the positive stop PTFE seals are used. For triple-spring applications, use the smaller-diameter Viton® seals.

Remove pressed-in rocker studs and tap for screw-in studs with these rocker stud puller and tap guides from COMP Cams. To remove pressed-in rocker studs, slide the rocker stud puller over two side-by-side studs, and then crank down on the retaining nut to force out the stud. Use the tool with the included tap guide to ensure proper alignment when tapping the stud boss for screw-in studs.

COMP Cams Pro Magnum hydraulic roller lifters are specifically designed to perform at higher engine speeds. When engines are equipped with a hydraulic roller camshaft, high rpm is limited by the improper positioning of the internal piston, as the lifter inevitably "pumps up." This improper location results in broken valves and, therefore, leads to lost power or sometimes even engine failure.
