COMP Cams Pro Magnum Hydraulic Roller Lifters
COMP Cams Pro Magnum hydraulic roller lifters are specifically designed to perform at higher engine speeds. When engines are equipped with a hydraulic roller camshaft, high rpm is limited by the improper positioning of the internal piston, as the lifter inevitably "pumps up." This improper location results in broken valves and, therefore, leads to lost power or sometimes even engine failure. These lifters offer a distinct advantage over standard high performance hydraulic lifters, especially in race applications where a hydraulic lifter must be used.

COMP Cams Cam Phaser Limiter Kits
Comp Cams cam phaser limiter kits are specially designed, computer-controlled cam gears that automatically optimize camshaft timing based on the current engine rpm Engine oil is pressure-fed to the phasers through passageways in the cylinder heads and cams. The engine computers control solenoids that adjust this oil flow into and out of the phasers' control chambers, creating the ability to retard the cams. While this technology provides fuel efficiency and the ability to always be in the best position for maximum power, regardless of engine rpm, it does present some limitations when it comes to performance cams. With such a wide range of valve timing movement, there is very little piston to valve clearance, which limits you to small cam profiles with little overlap. COMP Cams cam phaser limiter kits restrict the range of cam timing movement (14 degrees for Chrysler, 20 degrees for Ford, and 22 degrees for GM), thus providing the necessary valve clearance for serious performance cams with tighter lobe separations--all while utilizing the benefits of VVT technology. Everything from casting techniques to valve spring clearance was scrutinized to ensure that Ultra Pro Magnum rocker arms not only lived up to the lofty standards of their predecessor, but also took stud mount rocker performance, stability, and value to a whole new level. The most noticeable advancement centers around their nearly unbreakable investment cast 8650 chromoly body. The arched, web-like design delivers a nearly 29 percent increase in strength and rigidity, while reducing the moment of inertia and optimizing the dynamic balance.
