These Cometic Gasket EST top-end gasket kits are complete with a head gasket, a base gasket, and designated kits include reed, power valve, and exhaust gaskets. Cometic multi-layer steel head gaskets are comprised of two embossed Viton® coated stainless steel outer layers and a variable stainless center layer. The base gaskets are Viton® coated rubber with a steel core. Some of these kits include engine cover gaskets made from AFM material--a nitrile synthetic rubber that is bonded to an aluminum core.
