Clay Smith Cams solid lifters are manufactured in the USA from the high-quality hardened iron alloys designed to withstand normal engine stresses and contamination. Material and the design makes the lifters lightweight, yet exhibit superior strength, and a patented oil metering system limits the amount of oil that reaches the top end. This keeps as much oil in the crankcase as possible, while still providing adequate lubrication to the top end. In addition, the lifters heat-treated pushrod seats are used to eliminate wear from your pushrods in racing engines with high valve spring pressures.
