Champ Pans cold air boxes are part of your air intake system. These aluminum replacements are a chamber through which air is drawn and filtered before passing into the carburetors or fuel injectors. When you introduce a high volume of cold air to the combustion process, the engine is able to burn the fuel more completely—and that results in additional horsepower. It's ideal to keep intake air temperatures the lowest possible when running very hard, whether you're at the track or on your favorite backroad.
