To ensure your satisfaction, these wood kits have been heat dried in order to reduce the amount of moisture retained in them, therefore making them less likely to separate or disfigure after your installation. Kits are available for a wide range applications, including countless Chevy and GMC trucks from the 1940s, '50s, '60s, '70s, and '80s. Most wood is natural or unfinished—and pre-drilled for easier installation (unless noted). Metal bolt strips and hardware are sold separately for most kits.

Brothers Trucks Deluxe wood bed kits include pre-drilled oak hardwood, polished stainless steel strips, and a polished stainless steel bolt set. The boards are perfectly machined to make sure that they are easy to install; all pieces are 3/4 in. thick and assembled using hand-matched oak, guaranteeing that the grain and color doesn't vary from board to board. Brothers Trucks offers big brake kits to upgrade your front brakes to a massive 13 in. cross-drilled and slotted rotors with a 52mm dual piston calipers. These big brake front systems use a cross-drilled, gas slotted, and zinc washed rotor, mounted to a billet aluminum CNC-machined anodized hub and a caliper that attaches to the modular drop spindle with custom caliper mounting brackets. The calipers have twin 52mm pistons and a larger brake pad surface area that offers more stopping power in the caliper than popular C5 calipers at half the cost. These big brake front kits require a 17 in. diameter disc brake type wheels (won't fit 15 in. wheels). Kits come complete with slip-on rotors, forged hubs, twin piston calipers, custom caliper brackets, two drop spindles, bearings, seals, hoses and hardware. The cast iron calipers generally ship gray. They are made of high-quality cold rolled steel and are available in polished or unpolished stainless steel. All of these bed strips are 1 1/2 in. wide and 18-gauge thick. Brothers Trucks suggests buying the pre-drilled strips, which are pre-punched with square holes, to save you time and effort. It also makes installation a lot easier!
