Brothers Trucks offers bed reinforcement strips to fit trucks with a fleetside bed with a wood or steel floor. Reinforcing strips are used between bed cross sills on long beds, fleetsides and some stepsides. They are slightly shorter than the cross sill and are bolted to the bed strips and angle strips only. The strips help to reinforce the bed, but do not attach to the frame of the truck. Pre-drilled holes in the strip determines the placement of the bed strips and wood (or steel floor) to help keep them parallel to each other.
