Improve traction without limiting wheel travel with BDS Recoil traction bar kits, made with heavy wall construction and internal compression springs that can be loaded or unloaded while installed on the vehicle to control axle wrap. They offer a full float design for bind-free performance and can be installed with a range of lift heights. BDS Recoil bars are fabricated from 2 in. O.D. x 3/16 in. wall steel tubing with a threaded bung welded in toward the axle and a CNC-machined end at the frame. Axle mount uses BDS's ultra-durable large-forged flex end and jam nut. Using a forged housing with large 1 1/4 in. x 12 threaded shank, a single sided snap ring, and a one-piece flex ball, the flex ends are capable of up to 15 degrees of misalignment in either direction. At the frame end the bar uses a durometer specific polyurethane bushing and free floats in the traction bar utilizing a pair of dual stage internal compression springs and UHMW polyurethane bearings. BDS Suspension front upper control arms are specially designed for leveled and lifted applications, and they come fully assembled, ready to install right out of the box. Built from high-strength 1.5 in. O.D. x .120 in. thick wall steel tubing, the UCAs feature an indexed ball joint cup to correct the ball joint positioning. They can be used with BDS lift kits and other lift and leveling kits on the market. The frame mounting ends feature durometer-specific rubber bushings and premium quality, greaseable ball joints for smooth, quiet operation, and superior durability compared to arms featuring uniballs, poly bushings, or heims.
