BD VVB technology takes advantage of your Chevy Duramax's turbocharger exhaust turbine to create up to 35 psi of backpressure/130 retarding horsepower. This gives you ample braking force to help you safely maintain your speeds on descents and curves, also giving you better control. So, the Garrett variable vane turbo designed to reduce turbo lag and increase power also helps to slow you down! BD's variable vane brake rotary switch electronically controls the vanes in the turbo and offers automatic moderate and aggressive downshifting programs for the Allison transmission, as well as working in Allison manual shift selections. BD Diesel traction bar kits are designed to modify, enhance, and optimize your truck's performance and handling. Each kit features a heavy-duty construction to help prevent wheel hop, axle wrap, and large angle on U-joints. BD Diesel traction bars are optimized to arc in the same path the axle travels during suspension movement, which makes for a smooth ride and the ability to tow without having to adjust the bars. Each kit comes with necessary hardware and rivet-nut specific drill bit and tool.
