BD Diesel Exhaust Manifold Bolt and Spacer Kits
Typical aftermarket exhaust manifold bolts are much shorter than stock which after numerous heat cycles can cause them to fatigue and start to stretch, leading to exhaust leaks and possible breakage after repeated re-torques. The finish and coating on most of these bolts can also lead to premature corrosion and zinc embrittlement. Replace damaged or corroded exhaust manifold bolts with BD Diesel class 10.9 bolts and spacers which improve thermal durability to stand up to the heat and non-Zinc plated fasteners prevent zinc embrittlement. BD Diesel Xtruded Transmission Oil Coolers
BD Diesel Xtruded transmission oil coolers use the same high-efficiency micro-extruded bar technology that is in the BD Diesel air-to-air charge coolers, providing 22 percent more cooling over similar designs. Their 200 micro-extruded passages provide a large surface area to transfer heat for external airflow cooling, while their turbulent oil design promotes more complete cooling. They feature large 5/8 in. ports to prevent inlet/outlet restriction and furnace-brazed rails that have been tested to 300 psi of pressure. Their thermostatically controlled 80 watt, 10 in., 800 cfm electric fan offers automatic oil temperature control. BD Diesel Engine Exhaust Brakes
BD Engine Brakes enable your diesel to navigate downhill grades and mountainous terrain easier and safer than the vehicle's conventional braking system. This will increase the life of the stock foundation brakes and prevent brake fade under severe-grade driving. The factory-approved backpressure provides the retarding horsepower to slow down the vehicle on even the steepest descents, or just for a highway off-ramp. The exhaust flow is not restricted when the stainless butterfly is open in the large 4 in. casting that bolts into the exhaust system. The kits come with a lighted toggle switch for mounting conveniently on the dash. The brake releases as soon as the throttle is applied or the switch is flipped off. As with other BD designs, the backpressure is self-regulating. Once the pressure reaches specification, the butterfly position changes to maintain the highest pressure possible. This variable orifice design offers far superior retarding performance throughout the engine rpm range, compared to a fixed orifice design that only offers peak retarding performance at peak rpm.

BD Diesel TorqLoc Systems
BD Diesel TorqLoc systems will allow your torque converter to work at maximum efficiency. They feature three different converter settings. The manual setting allows you to manually lock up the converter. The stock setting transfers control of the converter lockup back to your vehicle's OEM computer. The AutoLoc setting locks up the converter when the exhaust brake is activated, allowing 100 percent of the retarding forces to be transferred to the rear wheels. This setting eliminates clutch slippage under heavy torque loads, reducing transmission temperature and extending transmission life in the process.

BD Diesel Differential Covers
BD Diesel differential covers are cast to cool. Specially engineered, the powdercoated aluminum covers are designed with internal and external cooling fins, plus an extra-capacity bottom sump. This strategy allows gears to pick up and deflect oil back onto the ring gear and into the pinion gear for cooler, longer life. BD Diesel differential covers are gasket-less, and each includes a reusable Viton® O-ring, stainless steel Allen head cap bolts, fill plug, and magnetic drain plug for a complete, easy, and "cool" installation.
