BD Diesel Killer grid heater upgrade kits are purpose-built to address a major flaw in the 6.7L Cummins engine--the electrical connection to the intake grid heater. When powering the grid heater, 200 amps pass through a small bolt and nut inside the intake and over time is known to deteriorate and eventually arc and break off. The nut drops into the engine, leading to extensive damage to the piston, head, and valves. BD's Killer kits upgrade that flawed electrical circuit by eliminating the problematic bolt and nut inside the intake while retaining stock functionality of the heater. These fuel pins are made from durable chromoly steel hardened to factory specifications and precision-ground. The included Bosch 1.9mm bushing gives you even more power.
