BD Diesel Killer grid heater upgrade kits are purpose-built to address a major flaw in the 6.7L Cummins engine--the electrical connection to the intake grid heater. When powering the grid heater, 200 amps pass through a small bolt and nut inside the intake and over time is known to deteriorate and eventually arc and break off. The nut drops into the engine, leading to extensive damage to the piston, head, and valves. BD's Killer kits upgrade that flawed electrical circuit by eliminating the problematic bolt and nut inside the intake while retaining stock functionality of the heater. The kits are cost-effective and easy to install. BD Diesel VE pump fuel pin kits are designed for your 1988-93 Dodge Cummins with a VE pump. These fuel pins are made from durable chromoly steel hardened to factory specifications and precision-ground. The included Bosch 1.9mm bushing gives you even more power. The combination of the pin and bushing adds roughly 30 additional horsepower and 80 ft.-lbs. of torque. With the governor spring installed, you will increase your available power band by roughly 500 rpm and increase hp by another 10 hp over the fuel pin.

Go back to a simpler time, when things worked and you could rely on your Cummins fuel system. Since the introduction of the common rail fuel system in 2003, all Dodge 5.9L/6.7L Cummins Rams were equipped with a reliable Bosch CP3 high-pressure fuel pump. Then in 2019, Cummins made major changes and switched to a Bosch CP4.2 pump, which has seen its share of problems in the GM and Ford applications. Due to the CP4's lower volume output, Cummins had to increase the drive ratio of the pump and turn it faster to keep up with fuel demand. By installing a Venom CP3 with the BD Diesel conversion kit, you can take advantage of this overdrive. The CP3's larger volume, combined with this increased drive ratio, allows you to supply more fuel for increased power potential! The CP4 is also susceptible to catastrophic failure. When disaster strikes, the entire fuel system requires replacement after metal debris from the failed pump spreads throughout. Cleaning the tank, replacing lines and injectors, and, of course, a new pump can end up costing you in excess of $10,000 in repairs. Prevent a costly failure, increase power and add durability by backdating your Cummins to a Venom CP3 with a conversion kit from BD Diesel.
