AutoMeter Electronic Snubber noise filters are an accessory for Spek-Pro tachometers that protects against voltage spikes from inductive loads like starter solenoids or fan motors. They feature an over-voltage protection circuit that filters spikes above +16 VDC and negative voltage spikes from the electrical system, preventing them from interfering with the tachometer's reading.
