Artec Industries is excited to announce their new spare tire delete kits. The tailgate cover plates are manufactured from 1/16 in. thick aluminum and designed using state-of-the-art 3-D modeling. Artec utilizes original OEM files, then CNC laser-cuts and bends each piece in-house for a precise fit. They're hard-powdercoated black for good looks and durability. New hardware is included to mount the factory back-up camera and third brake light assembly. Original spare tire carrier hardware is re-used to mount the plate to the vehicle. Artec Industries APEX front axle trusses feature a unique peak-shaped top which provides extra rigidity to the whole truss. This allows both a reduction in weight and elimination of long weld seams which can lead to extra weld warping, longer install times, and inconsistency. This peaked structure also applies to the axle tube between the coil perches and extends underneath them, forming a complete truss from end-to-end of the axle. Despite its lighter weight (only 6 lbs.), this design has been proven to hold up to both extreme applications and daily driving. Want easy insurance that your factory Jeep axle can take more abuse than intended? Artec Industries APEX front axle truss kits provide it!
