Their overall low-profile design means that your axle is stronger, sleeker, easier to fit, and less likely to interfere with rocks or other parts of your vehicle. The mounts' unique design places your ram in its most effective and strongest location—close to the axle centerline, not high above it—and yet they protect it from the rocks.

The Ram mounts extend to the end of the axle tube, providing reinforcement to the axle itself against bending and shearing. They're designed to take serious abuse and protect your steering. Artec Industries Dana 60 Front Hydro Ram mounts are available for fitment on a variety of applications, from 1960 and up.

* Ram mounts and gussets feature drainage holes for easy cleaning and reduced weight
* Mounts double as an axle skid plate, offering protection for your ram and tie rods—and span the length of the axle tube for more reinforcement against bending and shearing
* An additional 1/4 in. thick bolt-on skid plate in front of the differential allows easy removal of gears; it's bolted using included countersunk bolts, which don't get hung up on obstacles and hold up against trail damage
* These kits require general welding and fabrication skills
