They utilize high-strength chromoly bodies with a polished chrome finish that's sure to impress. The ball is made from heat-treated bearing steel for strength and hard chrome polished for a smooth surface. The race is injection-molded nylon which keeps the joint quiet and tight for years of usability. Artec Industries offers Ultimate 60 high steering arm fasteners for a variety of Dana 60 axle applications. These knuckle bolt kits work well with Artec's Ultimate 60 high steer arms to increase overall knuckle and steering strength—as well as provide options for mounting your steering. Whether you just need to reinforce your knuckles, or want to run your tie rods in double shear, these kits are designed to fit multiple steering configurations. Two kits are required for a pair of high steer arms, and cutting the sleeves in half is necessary to run Heim joints in double shear. Tie rod end holes on the knuckle need to be drilled to 3/4 in. diameter. Order the model that's best suited for your application. Features include: * 3/4 in.-16, 10 in. long, Grade 8 bolt * 3/4 in.-16 all-steel mechanical locknut, the best type of locking nut for steering applications * Machined 1.25 in. Artec Industries Lower Link Frame Brackets
Mount your lower link arm to the frame using these strong replacement brackets from Artec Industries. They're made from 1/4 in. in. thick steel plate for durability and include grease fitting access on top to allow easy maintenance of your joint. The brackets have a 2.625 in. mounting width with 9/16 in. bolt hole for common sized style cartridge joints. The skid plate on the bottom of each bracket wraps around the joint, protecting it from direct impact and decreasing premature wear; this skid plate design does not restrict movement of the joint. Tapered sides allow the Artec lower link frame brackets to be mounted at an angle without excess material hanging off the side. Not only do these brackets look better and more natural to the frame, but they also ensure less bracket sliding on the rocks and getting in the way.
