These steel mounts are for use with any 3 or 4-link suspensions and may require trimming to fit. Most will need to be welded securely into place. Mount your lower link arm to the frame using these strong replacement brackets from Artec Industries. They're made from 1/4 in. in. thick steel plate for durability and include grease fitting access on top to allow easy maintenance of your joint. The brackets have a 2.625 in. mounting width with 9/16 in. bolt hole for common sized style cartridge joints. The skid plate on the bottom of each bracket wraps around the joint, protecting it from direct impact and decreasing premature wear; this skid plate design does not restrict movement of the joint. Tapered sides allow the Artec lower link frame brackets to be mounted at an angle without excess material hanging off the side. Not only do these brackets look better and more natural to the frame, but they also ensure less bracket sliding on the rocks and getting in the way.

Finding the proper fasteners in your local hardware store can be a challenge—especially for automotive purposes. Instead, simply order Artec Industries high steer stud kits, the OE-style replacements needed for your Dana axle. Most of these steel studs have a black oxide finish, fine threads on both ends, and offer tensile strength up to 220,000 psi. (Some kits also include nuts and/or conical washers.) Remember, stock bolts are typically too short for high steer applications. Artec studs are sold individually or in multi-pack sets.
