They are 1/4 in. thick, precision-cut and formed to outperform the competition. These mild steel brackets are for use only with APEX truss or no truss applications. They will NOT work with first generation Artec trusses. Features and notes: * Integrates with new APEX truss for JK. Artec Industries Super Duty aluminum crossover steering kits are premium front axle kits for your Jeep offering the ultimate steering solution for your Super Duty axle swap. Kits start with Artec's 1.75 in. O.D. aerospace-grade 7075 aluminum rods mated with premium tie rod ends that are designed after those in the Ford F-450s--beefy and longest lasting. The tie rod and drag link ends are offset to account for the short arms on the Super Duty knuckles that provide a great steering feel and no contact with the differential. These are coupled with stainless steel spacers and adapters to allow a perfect fit to your new axle. Each link is threaded with both right-hand and left-hand threads at opposite ends making it easier to adjust the length alignment. Artec included wrench flats on each end of the aluminum link so you can easily tighten your jam nuts without marring the aluminum. Artec Industries offer JK rear frame UCA 3-link chassis brackets that will allow for mounting a single upper control arm above the driveshaft in a Jeep JKU. These brackets are for use with RockKrawler Krawler joints that have a 2.325 in. mounting width and a hole size of 9/16 in. They are machined from 3/16 in. thick steel and are CNC-bent for precision. These brackets do require welding, and if so desired, may be painted. Each rear frame bracket welds between the two factory crossmembers above the driveshaft and is intended for use with a RockKrawler X-Factor rear 3-link upper control arm.
