ARB Differential Covers
When off-road, encountering obstacles and hazards that could inflict expensive damage to your differential is inevitable. ARB differential covers are made from high-tensile strength nodular iron (tougher and harder than carbon steel); they are engineered to protect the differential and ring and pinion from off-road hazards. Available for a select line of differentials, they are offered in red or black powdercoated finishes. Features of ARB differential covers include: * Computer-optimized, cross brace design increases the structural rigidity of the entire axle * Helps keep the ring and pinion gears meshing on the flat faces of the teeth--greatly increasing ring and pinion life and overall strength * Top-quality, rare earth magnets on both the drain plug and dipstick collect metallic particles * Dipstick magnet allows the oil to be checked for tell-tale signs of internal damage * Prolonged carrier bearing life (especially on high-output vehicles) from improved support of bearing alignment * Approach/departure angles optimized by angled exterior surfaces that minimize hang-ups * Unique dipstick/filler cap design allows differential oil level to be adjusted for rotated differential housings * Low-profile drain plug resists damage from obstacles * High-strength cap screws (included) are recessed into the cover for impact protection
