APR dogbone subframe mount inserts stiffen the driveline to improve shift quality and power transmission. They limit driveline movement, which helps to minimize wheel-hop and torque steer, thus providing a more direct driving experience by eliminating slop in the driveline. The inserts do so without introducing excessive or uncomfortable driveline vibration and noise. All subframe mounts will slightly deform under use, but unlike rubber, polyurethane, or billet aluminum parts, APR dogbone subframe mount inserts are created from thick, billet stainless steel so they will not become heavily deformed to the point of failure. They are simple upgrades that will last the test of time and are offered in two different configurations for early and later style subframe bushings.

APR lowering bump stops improve handling and ride quality—and are designed for use on lowered vehicles, such as those with APR Roll-Control lowering springs. Bump stops are a critical handling and ride-quality component of your suspension system, but they're often completely overlooked. Most setups are either running the factory bump stops, which are too tall (causing constant engagement during normal driving); cut bump stops, which remove the progressive dampening; or they've removed them altogether. All of these scenarios hurt handling and make the ride harsh. APR bump stops are designed using a balance of durometer (hardness) and length to tune comfort and handling under normal and aggressive driving scenarios. The balance takes the following into account: * Length: A longer bump stop, like the factory units, will have more volume to absorb a harsh impact. But during normal driving on a lowered vehicle, they will constantly contact, which impacts both handling and comfort. The quick engagement can disrupt handling and cause driver discomfort. APR shortened the bump stop to ensure that they work on a lowered vehicle, but kept them tall enough so they have enough volume to absorb a hard hit. * Durometer (hardness): An overly soft bump stop is comfortable but can't absorb enough energy to protect from damage. Likewise, an overly stiff bump stop will impact ride quality, and impact handling negatively. Testing various setups, APR found a balance by increasing stiffness to provide better handling without going overly stiff as to impact comfort. The bump stops also have a progressive rate to them with a soft "nose." This allows the bump stop to gently engage so as to not disrupt handling. It's also less noticeable to the driver, aiding in the comfort of the driving experience. * Specifications: -- Material: PUR -- Front / Rear durometer: 75A (~50A OEM) / 65A (~55A OEM) -- Front / Rear I.D.: 19mm / 17mm -- Front / Rear O.D.: 56mm / 59mm -- Front / Rear length: 40mm (56mm OEM) / 80mm (110mm OEM) * Note: The OEM MK7 GTI, Jetta GLI, and Golf R, MK8 GTI, MK8 Golf R, and others all share the same bump stop length and durometers. Some have an extra ring to make them feel stiffer. * Bump stop features: -- Designed for lowered vehicles -- Improve handling and comfort -- Shorter than stock, enabling vehicle lowering without being overly short -- Increased durometer than stock without being overly harsh -- Progressive spring rate with a soft "nose" to provide a gentle engagement -- Perfect match to APR Roll-Control lowering springs -- OEM external dimensions for factory fit compatibility -- OEM quality black PUR (Polyurethane) material for durability and longevity -- Includes all 4 bump stops: 2 front and 2 rear
