AMP Research BedStep2 mounting bracket kits are needed when installing a flip-down step on either side of your pickup truck with a 6.5 ft. bed. Retractable steps make it easier for you to access a mounted toolbox or the front bed area. These auxiliary brackets secure to your truck's frame rail with just a small amount of drilling—and allow you to then attach the BedStep2 (sold separately).
